Why is ICT important?

Contemporary research has shown that ICT can lead to improved student learning and better teaching methods. A report made by the National Institute of Multimedia Education in Japan, acknowledged that an increase in student exposure to educational ICT through curriculum integration has a significant and positive impact on student achievement, especially in terms of “KnowledgeComprehension” · “Practical skill” and “Presentation skill” in subject areas such as mathematics, science, and social studies. Community garden- Angelina

On Friday 24 of April we went to the community garden.
We all had to look for some sort of plants and veggies .The trickiest one was the bean stalk,
and we got to plant in our mini garden box.
The stuff we planted were poppies and Barkley.
We alI helped misses Mucrum with the hot house we planted onions and bak choy.
Miss seow told us what to find I looked for the beanstalk it was really tricky to find
In the end we still had no clue were it was.



House athletics – Bella

On Tuesday the 21st of April we did House Athletics.
There was long jump, 100 meter sprint, shoot pot, hurdles, discus, vortex, high jump and relay.
I got 1 second and 3 first. I got the second ribbon for long jump. My mum was very proud of me.
I got the first ribbons for discus,relay and for vortex.
I had a very good day on House Athletics.

Community Garden By Senilka

On Friday the 24th of April 2015 we went to the community garden to plant some vegetables first Mrs McCrum told us all about the community garden. There was this thing called a hothouse which is used for the plant’s soil to get moisture.

Then Mrs McCrum put some soil into every little part of the hot house,then everyone got a pair of gloves and we planted some onion and bak choy seeds in them and brought back to our classroom.


Joffa’s Toonschool By Joshua

On Thursday the 16th of April 2015, 3K and 3S went to Joffa’s Toonschool. It was in the BER Building.

Firstly, Joffa introduced himself to us and was telling us about listening. The way to get everybody to listen is when he said waterfall.

In addition to, he told us that we can put two shapes together to make a picture.IMG_9178IMG_9179

Harmony day-Jordan&Lachlan.

On Friday the 20th of March it was BLPS’s harmony day celebration. Our slogan was happiness is the one thing we have in common in the universe.
We met up with our buddies and had a parade. It was amazing.

On Friday the 20 the of March we celebrated harmony day. We met up with our buddies. Some people from our grade spoke about the canvas and slogan. Every grade showed their canvas. After we walked around doing the cat walk. We enjoyed ourselves.


Harmony Day-Josh & Abdul

On Friday 20/3/15 3S caught up with our buddies at the Harmony day celebration. We went to the basketball court. We sat with our buddies. Everyone showed their canvas and talked about their slogan. Our slogan is “Happiness is the one thing we have in common in the universe”. We had lots of fun!


Harmony day – Alice L & Sarah

On harmony day we all went down to the basketball court to catch up with our buddies.
We did a canvas. Our slogan is “Happiness is the one thing we have in common in the universe “.
Then we all did a parade. Then some people did the choir ( for example ) me, Alice Leah and Holly.
We all had a lot of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Harmony Day-Ronan & Tevin

On the 20th of March we had a Harmony day parade. Each class took turns showing their canvas and reading their speech. Then the quire sang two of their songs.after that we ate snack with our buddies. And there was a big spider,and that’s our report on Harmony Day.
